ARRRRGH!
A cry tore from Orion's throat, echoing through the dim mechanic workshop. His knees hit the cold floor as waves of dizziness and heat pulsed through him, every breath burning. The scent....his scent filled the air, rich with honey and rose and something far sweeter, something dangerous.
Then, cutting through it, came another scent.
Smoked amber. Dark honey. Ozone and burning cedar.
It hit him with such force that his vision blurred. His body trembled as if every cell recognized the dominant energy now filling the space.
A strong Esper in rut.
The realization struck hard. His instincts screamed at him to run, but his legs wouldn't move.
