"Edwards!!!"
Orion screamed the name as he yanked his door open and stepped into the corridor, only to freeze when he saw Edwards and Josh standing right in front of his room.
"What the fuck are you two still doing out here?" Orion snapped, his chest rising and falling rapidly. "Didn't you see the Espers leave?!"
"We did," Edwards replied immediately, worry etched deep into his expression. "We were just about to come check up on you." His eyes swept over Orion from head to toe. "How are you holding up? I don't believe they can harm you. They wouldn't dare...not when they won't be able to get away with it."
"You two sure took your sweet time coming to check up on me," Orion scoffed coldly.
Without giving either of them a chance to respond, Orion grabbed Edwards by the wrist and dragged him into the room. Just as Josh took a step forward to follow them inside, Orion slammed the door shut in his face and locked it with a sharp click.
Outside, Josh cursed inwardly.
