"Huh?" Orion scoffed sharply. "Did you even think before saying that, or did you just repeat it again without thinking like some motherfucking parrot?" He raised an eyebrow as he slowly sat upright, curiosity flickering unmistakably in his eyes despite the irritation in his tone.
Louise didn't flinch. Instead, he met Orion's gaze calmly. "I don't need to think too much before replying to you, Orion," he said evenly. "I'm always certain about my answers when it comes to you, so you don't have to worry." A warm smile lingered on his face as he spoke, one that only made Orion's annoyance grow sharper. "Trust me when I tell you something," Louise added gently. "I always mean it."
"Oh, fuck this," Orion muttered, running a hand through his hair. "So you're serious about it then?" He looked straight at Louise. "If the pregnancy isn't yours, you wouldn't be annoyed but you'd still raise it as your own?"
Before Louise could respond, Orion's thoughts spiraled.
