Ah Chen, a senior, learned from a gossiping female classmate that Pei Chen had finally gone to university. The university was decent, a first-tier school, after all Pei Chen's foundation was there, but he really wasn't reconciled. After all, with his previous grades, he could have gotten into any university in the country, and this sense of disparity was very uncomfortable.
It's been so many years, and his former classmates are about to graduate from university. He always felt ashamed sitting in the remedial class and walking around school, his spirit nearly broken, not wanting to struggle anymore.
Since he was sent to the emergency room after taking those dubious remedies the last time, his body hasn't been as strong as it used to be. If he's a little careless, he feels unwell, unable to endure the intense studying like before.
He was actually afraid to repeat again but score worse this time. If he ended up not even at a first-tier school, wouldn't it become a joke?
