Chapter 341 - Chapter 341: Himura Kenshin and Kibutsuji Muzan

Dark Moon Blade. Of course, this "Dark Blade" isn't the one from the world of One Piece.

This blade isn't high-level in DNF, but it's more than enough for the world of One Piece.

Its attacks are inherently dark, with a chance to curse enemies upon striking. It also allows the wielder to learn the Moonlight Slash skill. Compared to the famous swords in One Piece, it's much stronger.

Zoro currently has three swords. Two of them were left to him by Kenshin: Dark Moon and a third unused sword. Since Kuina didn't die in this world, Wado Ichimon isn't in Zoro's possession.

Kenshin had originally intended to use Haki to imbue Dark Moon with the properties of a One Piece world Black Blade, but he ran out of time. However, the blade is entirely black, so at first glance, it would easily be mistaken for a Black Blade.

At this moment, Bellemere was filled with shock. She never imagined that a mere sword could make the blood of the demon king inside her tremble with fear, making it dare not look at her any longer. For the first time since being turned into a demon, she felt free!

"Is your master... his name Himura Kenshin?"

What?!

Zoro's pupils constricted. He immediately stared intently at Bellemere, "You know my master?!"

Himura Kenshin had suddenly left seven years ago. At the time, Zoro believed his swordsmanship had improved, but when he arrived at the Swordmanship Hall, he only found Koushiro. Koushiro said Kenshin had left, and that he had taken Kuina with him.

In fact, there were signs the night before Kenshin left. They didn't practice swordsmanship that night; they just talked for a long time. It was then that Zoro and the two of them made a promise to become the world's greatest swordsman. Perhaps because he was too excited, he didn't notice Kenshin's intention to leave.

Perhaps Kuina had seen through her master's thoughts and left with him. After learning that they had both left without a word, Zoro suffered for a while, and then he practiced even harder.

After setting sail, he also searched for traces of his master, believing that walking the path Kenshin had once walked would bring him closer to his master's heart.

Although he didn't know his master's past, Zoro could see that he seemed to carry some kind of mission. One day in the future, he would surely go to a certain place and fight someone to the death with a sword that had long been sheathed.

However, he wandered around the East Blue for several years without finding any trace of Kenshin. Zoro wasn't disappointed; in his opinion, someone as strong as Kenshin would only leave traces in the Grand Line.

He would go to that place sooner or later!

To his surprise, however, Bellemere uttered the name Himura Kenshin.

"As I thought..." Bellemere's eyes seemed to light up. "I once heard that Kibutsuji Muzan was heavily injured, which is why he started developing the Twelve Demon Moons and the Gato Group. But I never really believed it, because for demons, there's only life and death, not so-called wounds. But now, seeing your sword, I believe it, because I can feel the demon blood within me trembling in fear."

"Alright, I'm not in the mood to listen to you talk about this," Zoro said, resting his sword on Bellemere's neck. "Let's talk about my master."

With the sword at her throat, Bellemere felt no fear. She looked directly into Zoro's eyes and said, "Kibutsuji Muzan is the leader of all demons. Seven years ago, he was heavily injured by a mysterious swordsman and only survived by splitting his flesh. That swordsman was Himura Kenshin."

Seven years ago... that was when they left. But Zoro still asked, "Why do you know that swordsman is my master?"

"In the East Blue, besides him, who else could have done something like this?" Bellemere shrugged. "My name is Bellemere. I was once a Marine. I received a notice that the legendary Himura Kenshin from the Grand Line might have entered the East Blue. My retired status might be more suitable for tracking his movements. So later, when I learned that someone had severely injured Kibutsuji Muzan, I knew that swordsman must be Himura Kenshin."

"Marine... If you're a Marine, why are you working for that Muzan fellow?" Luffy, who had been listening quietly, chimed in.

He didn't know much about demons, but judging by Krieg earlier, these demons were definitely not good people.

Although Luffy wanted to be a pirate, he had been taught by Zephyr and Uta to be a Marine all these years, so he had a good impression of Marines.

"Muzan has the ability to turn people into demons, and once you become a demon, you must obey his orders. Eventually, you even lose your memories and emotions. Because of my Marine background, I was somewhat useful to him, so I wasn't brainwashed. But after this, he probably won't keep me around anymore." Bellemere's eyes held a hint of sadness. "Besides, I'll be killing myself soon."

"Huh?!" Zoro and Luffy looked at Bellemere in surprise. She then smiled, "Only at this moment can I truly remain clear-headed. Once Muzan starts paying attention to me again, I'll just be his puppet. I don't want to do too many things that go against my justice for him anymore."

"Then just defeat him!" Luffy immediately said. "Where is Muzan! I'll go defeat him right now!"

"It's impossible," Bellemere shook her head. "He's immortal and incredibly powerful. If you want to defeat him, make haste to the Grand Line and report this situation to Marine Headquarters."

She didn't mention The Black Order because The Black Order's headquarters are in the New World, which is too dangerous.

The branches in the Four Seas might be able to deal with Muzan, but Muzan is a cunning person. The East Blue branch might be able to handle him, but they could never truly capture him. Only the strong individuals at Headquarters could achieve that.

"Besides... you don't even know Muzan's location," Bellemere said with a bitter smile.

"You don't know either?" Zoro asked. "Aren't you his subordinate?"

"Yes, but probably only three people know where he is," Bellemere shook her head. "He's a very cautious person, especially more so after almost being killed by Himura Kenshin."

She then said to Zoro, "Muzan is afraid of the aura Himura Kenshin left on your sword, but this aura can only fool him for a while. Before long, he will react, and I will be controlled by him again."

"Rather than becoming a demon who cannot live under the sun, it's better to understand myself during this brief moment of freedom."

Her words suggested she had no fear of death. Seeing her resolve, Zoro didn't know what else to say. But Luffy walked up directly, "He's looking for some Blue Spider Lily, right? Then tell him I have that flower!"
