From late November to late January each year, the sun disappears below the horizon, ushering in the polar night of Arktos. Only during this time of year is the light and color in the sky exceptionally special; it is called the "blue twilight."
The tent where Sienna Thornton and Simon Forrester are staying has a panoramic window, with a built-in stove that keeps the temperature comfortable even on the coldest winter nights. The bed is covered with soft and cozy down quilts, and there are two sheepskin chairs; thus, whether sitting or lying down, a vast expanse of stars is in full view.
The aurora is something that can only be encountered by chance and not sought after. They plan to stay in the tent for three days this time. While waiting for the aurora to appear, they go to the library in Arktos to read books.
