Logan Lockwood, grimacing from the pain as the therapist pressed on a sore spot: "So there you go! Throw some money around, what's not to have?"
Gage chuckled, contemplating how to contact Maeve's agent when the phone on the table suddenly rang.
The therapist gently asked, "Young Master Grant, do you need me to get it for you?"
"Go ahead."
The phone was handed to Gage. He opened his eyes and saw the call was from the girl he's recently dealing with. He was about to ignore it, but recalling the dream he had in the car this evening, his heart tingled, and in that moment of impulse, he answered.
"Uncle, are you coming over tonight? I miss you..."
The girl's soft, sweet voice could melt the cold hardness of any man, and the frustration Gage had at Maeve's place earlier completely vanished.
