He said, "Don't cry, I'll come back as soon as possible."
She responded with an "okay," and the driver in front said they had arrived. Sheng Yi told the man on the other end of the phone, "I'm at the hospital now, don't worry about me, I'm fine. Wait for me to text you before calling back."
He agreed with her, then waited for her to hang up the phone.
When Sheng Yi got out of the car, she hadn't hung up the phone yet because her feet were severely swollen from the long flight, more than ten hours. She didn't feel anything when she got off the plane, but now getting out of the car, she almost lost her balance.
The driver quickly shouted, "Hey, are you okay? Stand firm!"
Sheng Yi quickly said she was fine, holding onto the car door to stand. She freed up a hand to hang up the phone.
