Yet no matter what he did, he seemed unable to break free from the palace's hold.
Until the stars shone again.
The starlight in the sky was faint.
Gradually shining as bright as the blazing sun.
Hundreds of suns competed in brilliance, intensely bright.
The world seemed to transform into heaven.
Finally, Lu Li felt his consciousness breaking through the layers of spatial and temporal restraints, ascending into the void outside the palace.
In this void, it was as if none of the concepts existing in the world existed.
