In the past few days, Huashan Sect Leader Ye Huaqing comes every day after morning lessons to teach Mo Bai the mental method for regulating his pulse. Although Mo Bai dislikes Ye Huaqing, to avoid angering Shen Yanli, he still obediently follows Ye Huaqing's teachings. However, he occasionally plays pranks, such as last time when he caught a caterpillar from a tree and placed it on Ye Huaqing's seat cushion, or another time when he added several spoons of salt to Ye Huaqing's tea, or tying knots in Ye Huaqing's clothes...
Ye Huaqing pays no heed to these childish tricks. Were it not for Shen Yanli's sake, he would have dealt with him severely by now.
Unable to use force, he makes him copy the Nine Veins Heart Scripture as punishment, which is evidently ineffective, as the pranks continue unabated.
