Erza sighed against Gavin's chest. Her body was sore and sated as she placed her hand against his chest. "I can't believe we just did that… like a couple of horny teenagers." She chuckled softly as she shook her head.
Gavin smiled warmly as he wrapped his arms around her back. "Well, I AM still a teenager, if only technically." He grinned at his joke and felt her tense in his arms.
She swatted his chest. "You are so not funny. Don't say it like that, it makes me sound like some type of pervert." Her tone was filled with annoyance as she leaned back and rolled off him. Traces of their time together slid down her legs.
Gavin laughed gently as he leaned back on his elbows. "You are though." His teasing words made her bristle as she reached for her pants. He winked at her, then he rolled over and took her jeans from her. He looked up and grinned at her as she turned to face him.
"Let me help." His words were gentle as she nodded and allowed him to help her get her jeans on. His hand lingered tenderly against her thighs as he leaned up to place a soft kiss to her lower hip, his touch sending fire through Erza's veins.
"If you keep acting so sweet, I just might forgive you." Her breath hitched as she felt him kiss her hips and up to her stomach. He chuckled against her skin as he pulled back and reached down to grab her bra nearby.
"Maybe that's the point." His words were softly spoken and held a vulnerable tone to them as he handed off her bra and reached down for his own pants. Erza stayed quiet as he got dressed and she grabbed her shirt from the ground and pulled it on.
"You're not that cute. I'm still angry with you." She admitted quietly as she turned to face him. "I still feel bad though, about hitting you like that." She walked over and placed her hand against his cheek that was still red from her fist.
"Nah don't be. I deserved it for being such an idiot for a moment." He covered her hand with his. His touch was warm against the back of her hand. "Just, please don't do it again… I fear next time you might break me."
She laughed bitterly at his attempt at a joke. "Maybe I will." She took his hand in hers as she pulled him back towards their campsite. "Come on, the others are probably getting worried."
He followed behind her as they walked in comfortable silence back towards the clearing. Gavin looked around and shook his head at the damage their poor clearing had sustained so far from everything. "I'd really hate to be the ones that have to clean this campsite up."
Erza laughed bitterly. "Yeah, that's no joke. Don't think I'll be getting my deposit back."
He tightened his grip on her hand. "I'm sorry, If I hadn't tried to fight with Kara, the campsite wouldn't be so destroyed."
Erza grinned. "Don't be. It was pretty sexy, the way you tried to defend me."
Gavin groaned. "But it wasn't when I got treated like a rag doll. I mean seriously. She's a freaking animal man. One kick literally almost killed me. Who does that?"
Erza's laughter filled his ears while they walked. "Apparently, Valkyries do."
Aria and Lyla looked up as they heard Erza's laughter and Gavin could see the tension leaving their bodies. Both of them had smiles on their face as they noticed that Gavin and Erza walked hand in hand back towards camp.
"So, I see you didn't kill the wolf." Aria's chiding comment made Erza's ears burn.
"See, I told you Aria, Erza can never stay mad at his charms." Lyla joined in ribbing her.
Erza growled low in frustration. "Don't you two have something else to do?"
Aria laughed playfully and shook her head. "Nope. My day is all cleared up to tease you endlessly tonight."
Erza hung her head in annoyance, though Gavin caught a trace of a smile on her face. "Whatever."
Gavin noticed that Tessa's tent was already put back together and she was no where to be seen.
I do not recommend mentioning her again right now, unless you want another punch from Erza. Veronica suggested gently without her usual sarcastic whit.
Gavin sighed as he nodded. Yeah, that's the same thought I had. Contrary to what you think Veronica, I can learn.
Her response was a quiet huff in his mind and he laughed quietly.
Erza looked over after hearing his laugh and gave him a suspicious look. "Something funny to Veronica?"
Gavin looked sheepish as he replied. "She seems to think that I can't learn from my mistakes."
Erza narrowed her eyes. "She would be right. You don't learn."
Gavin stood there, slack jawed in mock offense. "I do too learn… just more slowly compared to others."
Erza's lips twitched as she walked over to the table. "Since we are going to be training for a while, I want to go into town tonight for a few hours."
Gavin cocked his head to the side as he looked at her. "Yeah? What for?"
Erza leaned against the picnic table and smiled at him. "A night of fun, without stress or worry. A night out on the town. Who knows when we will have a chance to do this again."
Gavin considered that. "Yeah, that makes sense I suppose. I doubt the sisters will allow us to take a day off once we start."
Aria perked up as she walked over. "You thinking Club Storm?"
Erza grinned. "Why not? We came all this way; it'd be a shame not to visit it." She walked over to their shared tent and pulled out a change of clothes for both Gavin and her.
"What's Club Storm?" He was confused by their conversation as Erza handed him a change of clean clothes.
"Only one of the most famous clubs in this city. Supposedly have the best booze, food, and music." Aria practically bounced with excitement as she walked towards her tent.
"Oh, alright that sounds like fun." Gavin was excited as he took the clothes from Erza. I notice no one seems to be going to invite Tessa. After what happened maybe that's the smart thing. But will that cause more drama and fighting down the line?
Gavin glanced over at her tent and Erza caught the look in his eyes. She let out a sigh, her hands rested on her hips as she said. "Go on, invite the twit."
Gavin looked up in surprise. "Really?"
Erza nodded though her eyes held a look of uncertainty. "She's your best friend."
Gavin hesitated for a moment in debate. He walked over to her and wrapped an arm around her waist. "You are both important to me for different reason. But you," he paused to cup her cheek. "Are always number one in my heart."
Erza blushed at his tender, sincere words. "Stop being so damn cheesy and go invite her before I change my mind." Her tone was harsh but lacked the venom he'd grown to expect.
"Alright," he said and kissed her cheek. He walked over towards Tessa's tent and stood outside it. "Hey buttmunch. We're going into town to a club called Club Storm. You coming?"
"No, I don't want to go. Enjoy and I'll see you guys when you get back." Her words were short and emotionless as she stayed inside her tent.
Gavin let out a huff in agitation. "Fine, whatever." He responded as he turned and walked back towards the others. Erza stepped out of her tent, and he sucked his breath in.
Instead of just a simple T-shirt and jeans. She wore a black dress that hugged every inch of her curves with a slit that went up to her hip, revealing the most teasing amount of skin. Gavin almost salivated in appreciation for how hot his girl was.
Erza chuckled upon seeing Gavin's reaction. It made a flush creep up her chest and to her ears. She also recognized what that look in his eyes meant. She walked over and her hips held a seductive sway as she kept his attention. She closed his mouth with her finger and leaned in to kiss his nose. "Careful there lover. You're drooling."
