Chapter 61 - Chapter 61: Secret Peering

"Auntie, are you okay?"

Time flew by, and when night fell, everything finally ended.

"I'm fine," Aunt Meijing helped Su Hao sit on the bed, her face full of happiness, "Xiao Hao, I was really happy today."

"Me too," Su Hao hugged Aunt Meijing's waist, his eyes full of doting affection.

"How wonderful if time could stop at this moment," Aunt Meijing leaned on Su Hao's shoulder.

"Why stop at this moment? We'll have many more happy times in the future," Su Hao said softly.

"Will we really be happy?" Aunt Meijing murmured, then hugged Su Hao tightly, "Xiao Hao, promise me, don't leave me."

For the future, she only saw a mist, which made Aunt Meijing feel scared.

"Don't worry, I'll be with you forever," Su Hao's voice was gentle and firm.

"Mm," Aunt Meijing nodded, then turned her head to look at the wedding dress on the bed, her eyes full of reluctance.

"You like it? Then I'll talk to the boss and buy this wedding dress," Su Hao rested his chin on Aunt Meijing's shoulder, gently kissing her cheek.

"This… it's too expensive, your thoughtfulness is enough," Aunt Meijing's heart swelled with joy at Su Hao's words, but she still shook her head.

"Don't worry, if I can get a diamond ring this big, can't I handle a wedding dress?"

"That's right, you haven't told me where this diamond ring came from?" Aunt Meijing turned her head, looking at Su Hao with confusion.

"It's our family heirloom. My dad passed it to me to give to my future wife," Su Hao said casually.

"Really? But why isn't this diamond ring heavy at all?" Aunt Meijing looked down at the diamond ring, her eyes full of suspicion.

Although the diamond ring was large and beautiful, it felt as light as nothing when worn on her hand.

"If it didn't have something special about it, how could it be a family heirloom," Su Hao made up.

"Alright, I'll cherish it well," Aunt Meijing nodded, already assuming the diamond ring was fake.

But she wasn't angry, because as she said before, Su Hao's intention to be good to her was enough; she didn't care about the value of the gift.

"Then you rest here for a while. I'll go buy the wedding dress from the boss. Don't worry, even if I have to sell myself, I'll buy you that wedding dress!" Su Hao helped Aunt Meijing sit down, then turned around resolutely.

"Hey!" Aunt Meijing reached out her hand to stop him, but Su Hao had already walked away.

Never mind, let him be. Aunt Meijing smiled faintly, leaning against the headboard and savoring the lingering warmth.

"Little brother, you're finally out!" As soon as Su Hao opened the door, he saw the bald boss jump up like a spring.

"What's wrong?" Su Hao asked, closing the door, puzzled.

"What's wrong? Do you know how long you two were in there? My shop is almost closing!" the boss said excitedly.

"Sorry, it was a bit long. Can't be helped, men, you can be slow, but never fast," Su Hao said with a smile, showing no hint of apology.

"You… you two were doing that kind of thing for so long in there?" The boss's eyes widened as he looked at Su Hao's smug smile.

"Of course, what else would we be doing? Chatting?"

"Awesome! You're awesome!" Receiving Su Hao's affirmative answer, the boss gave a thumbs-up in shock.

Then he rubbed his hands and enthusiastically put his arm around Su Hao's.

"What the hell, what are you doing? My orientation is perfectly normal!" Su Hao pushed the boss's hand away in disgust.

"Don't worry, my orientation is normal too! I just wanted to ask… about your time… do you have any secret remedies? How can you last so long?"

"Didn't your wife pass away?" Su Hao stared at the boss in surprise.

"People move to live, trees move to survive. I can't just hang myself on one tree, can I? I found a younger one," the boss chuckled.

"You… can't satisfy her?" Su Hao looked at the boss's somewhat sallow complexion, a hint of sympathy in his eyes.

"Can't be helped, I'm getting old after all. Brother, do you really have a secret remedy?" The boss stroked his belly, asking expectantly.

"I actually do, but I have a condition. I'll give you the secret remedy, and you give me that wedding dress," Su Hao pointed to the room door.

"Ah? That wedding dress is very expensive!" the boss said with difficulty.

"My secret remedy is also very expensive, and besides this one, I have another secret remedy that can increase your ( )." Su Hao looked at the boss's waist, hinting.

"That amazing? How do you prove it?" the boss asked cautiously.

"Simple, you'll know if you try it yourself," Su Hao handed the boss a pill for enlargement, "No use, no charge. Remember to measure with a ruler."

"Alright, I'll trust you this once!" The boss took the pill and turned to walk to the restroom.

Fifteen minutes later, Su Hao and Aunt Meijing walked out of the shop hand in hand.

"Brother, come again when you have time, it's on me!" The bald boss waved excitedly.

"No problem," Su Hao smiled, then disappeared into the crowd with Aunt Meijing.

He successfully exchanged five enlargement pills and half a stamina potion for the wedding dress.

"Xiao Hao, this wedding dress must be very expensive, right? Where did you get so much money?" Aunt Meijing held the wedding dress in her hand, leaning happily on Su Hao's shoulder.

"It didn't cost money, I just gave him some special things," Su Hao chuckled, "Things men can't refuse."

"So mysterious," Aunt Meijing pouted.

"Let's not talk about that. What are we doing later? Continue playing or go home?"

"Of course, go home. I'm so tired now, I just want to sleep," Aunt Meijing said, yawning.

"If you want to sleep, sleep now," Su Hao said tenderly, stroking the hair at Aunt Meijing's temples.

"How can I sleep like this now?" Aunt Meijing looked at the surrounding crowd.

"Of course there's a way, a tried and true method," Su Hao said, then stopped and knelt on one knee, "Come on, I'll carry you on my back."

"You…" Looking at Su Hao's bright smile, Aunt Meijing covered her mouth, her face full of emotion.

The passersby around them, seeing this scene, also stopped to watch.

Just then, dazzling fireworks lit up the sky, like blooming flowers across the night sky.

"Xiao Hao, I love you!" Amidst the sound of exploding fireworks, Aunt Meijing loudly expressed her feelings.

Then she took two steps forward and lay on Su Hao's back.

"Oh oh oh oh!" The passersby didn't hear Aunt Meijing's confession, but that didn't stop them from giving Aunt Meijing applause and blessings.

"Auntie, look how beautiful these fireworks are. They are dim during the day, but after enduring the scorching sun, they will outshine the stars and amaze everyone.

Our future is like these fireworks, it will eventually have its moment of grand display," Su Hao turned his head and lightly kissed Aunt Meijing's lips.

"Mm, I believe you!" Aunt Meijing said excitedly, looking up as the first round of fireworks slowly faded like shooting stars.

But Aunt Meijing firmly believed that her love with Su Hao would not only possess the brilliance of fireworks but also escape their transience.

"Let's go, we're going home," Su Hao whispered, carrying Aunt Meijing and walking forward.

The passersby automatically cleared a path, looking enviously at Su Hao and Aunt Meijing's retreating figures.

But no one noticed that in a corner of the crowd, Pei Huizhen slowly put down her phone.

Zhao Meijing, this time you're really done for!

Looking at the video she had just filmed on her phone, Pei Huizhen's smile was incredibly arrogant.
