This thing never appeared in the Mysterious Shop before. After the pollution from the divine creatures exploded in District Thirteen, someone discovered this thing in the Mysterious Shop but didn't know how to use it.
Until a powerful Extraordinary emerged from the remaining humans in District Thirteen, and single-handedly stopped the attack of the decaying humans. That's when they understood the true purpose of the so-called Genetic Chain.
The blood of divine creatures can activate the Genetic Chain, allowing the user to gain unimaginable abilities. It is also known as the Divine Inheritance, considered to be a treasure left behind by the gods.
Without the blood of divine creatures, the Genetic Chain is no different from a stone, yet it is hyped up to sky-high prices on an advanced trading platform, enough to buy a complete settlement.
Now this thing actually appeared on the body of this divine creature before them.
