Hearing this, Xu Jie froze on the spot, her expression showing a bit of daze, "If that's the case, then aren't we destined for doom?"
Previously, she naturally believed that as long as the Divine Creature was taken down, the fate of being polluted could be avoided. Now it seemed not to be the case.
Yi Xiaodong nodded and then shook his head, "Not entirely. According to the analysis, it's very likely that District Thirteen killed that Divine Creature, which caused the large-scale horrific pollution."
Hearing this, Xu Jie looked enlightened, "So, does that mean as long as we avoid killing this Divine Creature, or imprison it, we can avoid large-scale pollution of this area?"
Yi Xiaodong nodded, "In theory, that's the case, so instead we must not actively hunt down that Divine Creature, even if it's not particularly strong."
"We should actually be grateful that He Yu did not succeed, otherwise it might have caused a large-scale horrific pollution, with no way to salvage anything."
