Bai Yifan grinned, scooped a large piece of braised pork into his bowl, and began eating heartily beside Bai Xiqin.
Bai Xiqin didn't want to be outdone, her chopsticks flew as she scooped rice into her mouth.
"Hey, slow down!" Wang Yiyun was taken aback, then placed another helping of braised pork into Bai Xiqin's bowl, "I told you to eat breakfast and you didn't, you slept till the afternoon, look how hungry you are now!"
Bai Xiqin, with cheeks puffed full, foolishly smiled at Wang Yiyun and continued to wolf down her food.
In one sitting, Bai Xiqin devoured three bowls of rice.
Bai Anhai beamed at Bai Xiqin, convinced that it was his excellent cooking that caused his daughter to eat so much.
"Dear, let's go shopping!"
Wang Yiyun slung a bag over her shoulder and cheerfully looked at Bai Xiqin.

Inside the space, Bai Xiqin heard the sound of knocking from outside.

Spotting the shattered cup on the floor, Bai Yifan grabbed a broom and started sweeping up Bai Xiqin's room.
"Why didn't you clean up the broken cup, what if you get a cut?" Bai Yifan grumbled while sweeping, "What's this? How come there's wood?"
Bai Yifan sighed, thinking indeed, messy is beautiful!
"Xiao Fan, have you read any zombie novels?" Bai Xiqin asked, looking at Bai Yifan sweeping.
"Of course!"
Bai Yifan casually took out his phone and opened the novel reading app, revealing a full page of apocalypse novels.
