Summer Shawcross looked at the porridge in her hand and couldn't help but sigh.
He seemed much better than yesterday, but if he still couldn't eat anything, his body wouldn't be able to take it.
Just as she was hesitating, Noah Drexler suddenly picked up the phone on the bedside table and dialed the internal line downstairs.
"Send someone up with the nutritional IV," he ordered.
As he was about to hang up, Summer reached out and took the phone from his hand.
"That's not necessary, thank you."
After speaking, she hung up the phone.
Although a nutritional IV could sustain his life, it was no substitute for food ingested naturally, and relying on it wasn't ideal.
Seeing this, Noah Drexler furrowed his brows, looking at her with some surprise.
As Summer hung up the phone, she stared at the porridge in her hand, and then... suddenly lowered her head and took a sip.
