He lowered his eyes to look at her, his dark eyes full of complex emotions.
But Summer Shawcross had no intention of considering anything else. She just raised her hand, trying to break free from Noah Drexler's grip.
"Let me go, I want to sleep." Seeing that he wouldn't let go, she finally became anxious, her eyes reddening.
"You've already slept for a day!" Noah Drexler said to her with a serious expression.
She had been asleep for twenty-four hours!
Yet Summer Shawcross seemed not to hear his words at all, still trying to break free and head upstairs.
Seeing this, Noah Drexler's face grew darker, and suddenly he bent down, gathered her up in his arms, and strode towards the stairs.
Noah Drexler carried Summer Shawcross all the way back to the bedroom on the second floor.
Just as he entered, a servant came in holding a stack of freshly laundered clothes.
"Sir, these are Ma'am's clothes."
