Seeing that the class monitor wasn't speaking, the other classmates started gossiping, one by one grabbing Vivian and bombarding her with questions:
"Vivian, how did you meet your boyfriend??"
"Are you two from the same school, same department??"
"When did you start dating, was he the one who pursued you??"
"Your boyfriend is so handsome, isn't he chased by many girls? How did you stand out??"
Seeing that the questions were getting more and more gossipy and tricky, Vivian could initially pretend she hadn't heard anything. But after a while, she finally had to give in.
She looked at the group of classmates beside her, both amused and helpless, and said, "Alright, alright, stop guessing. He's not my boyfriend, he's my little brother."
"Your little brother??" The classmates were instantly shocked, looking at her.
The previously dejected class monitor, upon hearing this, suddenly perked up, turning his head with eyes full of surprise to look at Vivian.
