"It's fine, I've got an umbrella at home." Ethan Hayes comforted her in a mild voice. "You can use it."
"Really!?" The moment she heard that, Vivian's eyes instantly lit up.
"Yeah." Ethan Hayes nodded, looking at her with a bit of helpless amusement. "Can you relax and keep eating your noodles now?"
"Yeah, yeah!!" Vivian finally let out a breath. She went back to the table, picked up her fork, and started eating her noodles in peace.
After the two of them finished their noodles, Vivian cleared the table, then shooed Ethan Hayes off to take a shower. Outside, the rain was still pouring down.
