"Oh, so that bet no longer counts?" Ethan Hayes looked at her with a face full of disappointment.
"Yes, it no longer counts." Vivian York quickly nodded like a pecking chicken.
"Then..." Ethan's eyes shifted, showing a pitiful expression as he looked at her and said, "I got seventh in my class for this final exam, shouldn't I get some sort of reward?"
Vivian was taken aback, and with some difficulty asked, "What kind of reward do you want?"
Initially seated, Ethan suddenly stood up after she finished speaking.
He took a step with his long legs, walked around the desk, and stopped directly in front of Vivian, not saying a word, just looking at her intently.
Vivian instinctively moved back a little, raised her head to look at Ethan's deep eyes, and stammered, "What, what are you doing?"
Before her words were finished, Ethan had already slightly bent down, reached out with his long arms, and wrapped her whole body tightly in his embrace.
