On a hot afternoon, three people just out of the swimming pool were walking briskly down the main road towards the shopping street.
The sun burned fiercely overhead, making even the willow trees droop down, as Vivian looked up at the pedestrian street not far ahead and couldn't help but mutter, "I feel like I'm going to die of thirst."
"I'll get you some bottled water later," Simon Lewis said in a low voice, unable to suppress a chuckle at her words.
Ethan Hayes cast Simon a sideways glance, muttering quietly, "You always show off."
"Ha, you can show off by buying Vivian some milk tea," Simon glanced lightly at Ethan, his voice full of disdain.
"Fine, I'll do it. Vivian, I'll get you an iced milk tea later!" Ethan turned his head seriously to Vivian.
"Call me sister," Vivian coughed lightly, lifted her head, and gave Ethan a slight smile.
"Okay, sister…" Ethan's voice was full of reluctance as he called her that.
