The two of them chatted sweetly for a while before hanging up the phone. Now that Summer was emotionally settled, she returned to her state of shipping couples.
She curiously watched Natalie Vaughn admit her mistake, unable to understand why Nina suddenly changed her attitude towards her brother-in-law. She still remembered the first time they rigged the wires and how Nina got marks on her waist and specifically asked her to take photos and send them to her brother-in-law.
What did Nina say back then? She said it was a ruse to make her man feel sorry for her.
Now, although she didn't understand how her brother-in-law knew about the on-set incident, he hadn't come over during this time, presumably because he was busy. It was obvious that Nina missed him, so why not use a little ruse now?
Summer voiced her confusion, and Natalie gave a light tap on her recently red and sniffly nose.
"Summer."
"Yeah?"
