Upon closer inspection, it was a small koi carp the size of a palm.
Its scales were a pale gold, its tail was beautiful, and its eyes were like amber, reflecting a resolute gaze.
This little koi carp swam among the decaying and shattered fish corpses in the flood, swimming back, refusing to be carried into the deep pit, unwilling to be banished.
But, it was just a small koi carp, how could it resist such a powerful torrent?
