"Leon, Ethan Knight's people have arrived," a servant hurried in from outside.
"Ethan Knight? Has he found out it's here? And he's still persistent? Today's the last day, nothing can go wrong. I'm going out to meet him now!"
"Leon Rivers, let me go," Melody Thorne pulled him back. "You stay inside and guard Jared Quinn. That guy won't do anything to me!"
"But..."
"You stay here!" Melody Thorne didn't give him any chance to speak and went straight outside.
Ethan Knight saw her come out, and his devilishly handsome face immediately drew close to her, smiling as he pointed behind him. "No need to worry, I won't forcefully take you back. Jared Quinn is injured now, and I'm not one to resort to underhanded tactics. I just brought them along as a precaution. If Jared Quinn doesn't wake up today, they can go up and try, right?"
"He will wake up!"
