Seeing her walking towards Ashton Young's lounge, May Chaucer quickly left to find Luna Lancaster.
"Did she go?" Luna Lancaster sat on the sofa, inspecting her freshly painted nails, her legs propped high on the glass table.
"You can trust me to handle things," May Chaucer immediately crouched down, fawningly massaging her legs, "As long as there are no issues on your end, nothing will go wrong."
"My end?" Luna Lancaster let out a cold laugh, "Do I have any problems here? Is there anything between us? I don't remember anything. I've been staying here, going nowhere."
"Yes, yes, nothing at all between us, look at me, I forgot," May Chaucer quickly agreed, following her lead.
Luna Lancaster stared at May Chaucer like she was a dog, a dog that could be used, not even worthy of licking her shoes.
Even if Luna Lancaster was not a good woman, having a disloyal dog like this around her was filthy. Once used, they'd just be kicked aside. They think they can stay close?
