The moonlight continues to illuminate the night full of chaos, meaning — goodness will continue to shine upon the world even though the darkness of evil casts shadows upon every behavior of mankind and all within.
It seems we have forgotten yet another greatest young hero. One who came from the Northern Kingdom, the Kingdom of Belhalfourgh. A cold climate, wind that can freeze weak spirits, every region covered in uniquely patterned snow.
He is, Elreich.
His steps followed the great event after the battle of Elevanour against Zelga the demon king as well as the angel who fell due to his morals.
With every step he walked with his wooden sandals tapping the desolate ground, he began to see something unfamiliar to him.
The longer he stared at it… the more shocked he became, as his eyes witnessed a great power. When he saw the many chains of Elevanour anchored onto the moon.
His hand, white and not too large, slowly grasped Elevanour's chains, his white silk pants with a black cloth tied at the waist — along with the long-sleeved grey shirt swayed with the breeze cooling the night.
His right eye was closed, while the left one, black colored, stared straight at the chain as if he could feel the profound sensation of witnessing the event right before him.
His hair slightly sharp, black colored that fit him well and not too striking. He then turned around, observing in all directions — the more something made him silent, the higher his curiosity.
Seeing the darkness of the forest he gazed upon, his heartbeat became calmer. For him, darkness was not fear, but fear was the light that could reflect their weakness to those who believed themselves special.
...
Elreich walked slowly, approaching the center of this wide forest not covered by trees. His eyes straight, his right hand holding his left shoulder, his body firm and unwavering.
"How ugly of you, stepping on my poor senses like this?"
His eyes knowing something was lurking, his tone angry yet ice-cold as he questioned — who was there.
Yet, the dark forest showed no reaction to his words.
Not long after, he looked down at his right leg, seeing an arm gripping his ankle.
He said nothing, showing no reaction at all.
"...!"
His face widened in shock, the hand immediately pulled him down extremely fast! Piercing through the rough earthen surface, as if reality itself was being manipulated by someone.
Now only nature was left to witness the behavior of beings who loved causing disorder everywhere.
...
Elsewhere, Arvengal who was running toward where Elreich's battle occurred, was shocked hearing a loud crash. His sharp eyes traced the sound and he ran faster.
...
"KRINGGGGGG!!!... THUMMM!!"
The ground slowly cracked, emitting mysterious sounds in the night that had only just been silent.
Suddenly, the sound of a circular crystal explosion surrounded the area, brown smoke covered everything.
When the smoke began to fade, he stared in awe at the dark blood-red crystal shining, sparkling, towering high. Its sharp edges able to kill anyone.
There he was, Elreich. Bringing three creatures that previously attacked other heroes, except one unknown being — now frozen into sharp rising crystal formations — the same ones that dragged him beneath the earth.
Elreich stared gently, no emotion, only curiosity. "So… you are the ones who made Elevanour lose?" He said, firmly yet calmly before the gods and traitorous angels who had become half-demons.
As Elreich looked again at those beings… both of them vanished into nowhere. He quickly rotated his black left eyeball, scanning every quiet corner.
Stepping backward cautiously… unintentionally glanced at the crystal — seeing the shadow of Elevanour smiling behind him. It shocked him half to death.
"Eh?" His eyes widened, body frozen.
Suddenly! He was tightly embraced by Aldebaran! His eyes staring upward! A tall and large figure capturing him…
He could do nothing, the embrace was so strong, his bones throughout his body aching, nearly crushed.
Not long after, someone appeared before him. Jet-black hair slightly long and sharp, pure ash-grey eyes, stern face, muscular body — wearing a white robe, drawing a dark-red sword with a killing gaze full of suffering.
"!!!"
Elreich was silent, his eyes dim, his mouth dripping blood from the crushing embrace. But behind that, he suddenly grinned for a reason.
"Swishh! Blekkkk!"
Blood flowed, his clothes drenched red, the sword pierced with no mercy for the living. At that moment, Elreich's chest was stabbed by Hades' blade.
Hades stabbed with a cold, merciless gaze, no trace of humanity on his face. Aldebaran immediately released Elreich from his hold, then moved beside Hades observing the pierced Elreich.
"Is this enough, Aldebaran?" said Hades, suddenly pulling out his sword and letting Elreich's limp body fall.
"I… I don't know, I'm waiting for Zelga's orders." Aldebaran replied firmly.
...
Elsewhere, Arvengal, already close to the location, couldn't believe what he saw, hiding within bushes, watching Elreich being defeated so easily by Hades and Aldebaran.
With full confidence and bravery, he began stepping out from his hiding place. Suddenly Hades, hearing rustling sounds, turned toward the dark bushes, his unwavering gaze missing nothing.
Then Aldebaran asked, "What is it? Better we go find Zelga and end all of this. I really can't stand any of this." He slowly turned his body, then walked away searching for Zelga.
Hades puzzled. Turns out, what he suspected was just a deer running from a tiger in the darkness.
Then he asked Aldebaran who was walking ahead, "But wasn't Zelga with us earlier… yes?" Hades asked plainly.
Suddenly Aldebaran froze, his steps slowly stopping. "With us? What do you mean Hades? Earlier we attacked that human, it was only us… the two of us." He glanced briefly at Hades.
In the middle of their conversation, the deer Hades saw earlier arrived near Aldebaran. It seemed to be seeking protection from the tiger attacking it.
Hades walked toward Aldebaran, "Aldebaran, wait—"
"GHRRKK!!"
Aldebaran immediately stomped the innocent deer brutally, without a shred of mercy. "I have no reason whatsoever to help this creature."
The tiger, seeing this, immediately ran away. But Hades was slightly angered by Aldebaran's merciless action.
He stopped walking, "What do you mean you bastard?! Can't you see that the deer was a weak animal seeking protection—"
"krekk…tingg!!"
Hades instantly stepped back swiftly and drew his sword when he saw Aldebaran turning into a chunk of gold! His eyes searching for something.
"Aldebaran?!"
His once cold expression had turned into alertness, though still maintaining composure.
Suddenly, behind him someone attempted to slash him.
"Shhhh!"
Hades, aware, immediately pulled his sword! Turning around extremely fast! His strong reflexes blocking the slash of the attacker.
"KKKRANGGG!"
Sparks erupted between the two blades.
The thick charismatic black sword of Hades blocked the attack with only one hand.
As Hades wanted to ask who the figure was, the figure shouted before he could—
"I AM ARVENGAL!!"
Hades' eyes widened instantly.
Arvengal swiftly slashed Hades' sword with his golden blade a thousand times within one second.
"Ting… Ting…Ting-ting-ting-ting-tringggg…!!!"
Then, a shrill vibration echoed around them. Hades tried with all his power to withstand it. But in the end, both he and his sword were thrown far away!
"SWOSHHHHshhhh!!!!....BUMPPP!!"
He crashed violently, smashing everything around him! Trees flew along the path where Hades was hurled by Arvengal's strike.
...
Arvengal remained in the slashing stance, right leg bent to the right, left leg straight stabilizing posture, both hands gripping the sleek golden sword slicing rightward.
Then he exhaled through his mouth, vapor escaping. As he returned to standing posture, a change appeared across his entire body as if this was merely an illusion crafted by someone!
Extremely fast, the figure of Arvengal revealed itself to be merely Elreich's disguise! Meanwhile, the body earlier pierced by Hades was actually Aldebaran, and the Aldebaran turned into a golden statue was actually the brilliantly cunning Arvengal!
...
Now exactly 3 AM, the battle had been fierce. The moon slowly withdrew itself from the face of the earth.
The golden statue shattered into chunks of gold. Revealing Arvengal inside, waiting for his turn to be freed. As he became aware that this was over — he immediately approached Elreich who was examining Aldebaran's body in the corner of his crystal formation.
He came, greeting Elreich. "What is actually happening? Where did Elevanour go? And who are they?" Arvengal asked, full of confusion over all these events.
Elreich replied flatly. "Elevanour may be gone." His face wrinkling in irritation.
"But I don't know either, Arvengal."
Said Elreich, trying to comprehend everything himself. Eventually he opened the eye that was closed.
His gleaming white eye opened. For he began sensing a massive aura approaching them. His gaze deadly serious.
...
Not long after, Hades rose back from the brutal strike that hit him. Now his white robe was torn, and he immediately discarded it. Revealing the extremely deep red armor that radiated intense power and firmness on his body. His tied-back long hair now loosened.
The wind stopped. "Truly careless..." said Hades. He revealed a massive shining black claw on his left arm emitting a colossal killing aura.
End for this part. Lets go!
