Chapter 60 - Super Saiyan, First Stage

"I know this thing might get in the way, but you shouldn't just cut it off." Zhu Zhuqing understood this feeling, having experienced it herself. Imagine hanging two watermelons on your chest, just try it!

"I have a reason for cutting it off." Wukong was speechless. Who would cut their own flesh for no reason?

"Firstly, this tail is the only vital weak point on my body. If someone grabs it, I'll become completely powerless."

"Also, I've reached a breakthrough bottleneck, but this tail is currently hindering me." Wukong said slowly.

"Oh, I understand." Zhu Zhuqing suddenly realized, "So, to break through this bottleneck, you have to cut off your tail?"

"Yep! Exactly."

"Have you two forgotten about me!" Zhao Wuji shouted loudly from below. He'd just been beaten up, and now he had to endure forced dog food. It was really... sigh.

Seeing the two of them, Zhao Wuji immediately exerted force with both hands, digging a huge stone from the ground. He planted his feet, swung it a full 360 degrees, and then hurled it towards Wukong and Zhu Zhuqing in the air.

"A mere trick," Wukong said with a knowing smile, keeping Zhu Zhuqing close as he continued to gain altitude.

Then I unleashed a qi blast downwards, shattering the rock.

The small stones that scattered down didn't spare the people on the ground.

"Ah, help!" Ning Rongrong, the little troublemaker, panicked and scrambled to find something to cover her small body. She didn't want to ruin her looks.

"Brother!"

Seeing Tang San fly away after being hit by Zhao Wuji, Xiao Wu immediately dispelled her martial soul state and rushed to where Tang San was lying.

She cleared away some of the stones for him, though some still managed to hit Tang San, leaving him bruised and swollen.

"Brother, are you okay?" Xiao Wu looked at the unconscious Tang San with tear-filled eyes.

This was still because Zhao Wuji had gotten a little serious with him; in the original story, he hadn't taken it seriously at all, which gave Tang San an opening.

"Ugh~" Tang San gradually regained consciousness after hearing Xiao Wu's call.

I was careless.

"If I had been more careful, I probably wouldn't have been hit." Tang San slowly stood up, clutching his aching chest.

It seemed his face also hurt quite a bit.

He saw Zhao Wuji glaring at the sky, and Tang San also curiously looked up. He saw Zhu Zhuqing and Wukong floating in the air.

"Xiao Wu, listen to me. Wukong and Zhu Zhuqing are likely going to stay floating up there." Tang San pointed at the sky.

"This Teacher Zhao Wuji's martial spirit is the Titan Bear, which doesn't allow him to fly. In other words, his next target will definitely be the two of us."

"You're going to do it like this in a moment."

"Don't worry, bro." Xiao Wu said confidently.

"Alright! Attack!"

As Tang San provoked the two in the sky, the Blue Silver Grass in his hand began to coil around Zhao Wuji like a green dragon.

"Hey, hey, hey, easy there, sis." Wukong looked at Zhu Zhuqing with a hint of fear.

"It'll be over in a moment, just bear with it." Zhu Zhuqing held Wukong's tail with her left hand, and the nails on her right hand began to lengthen quietly.

Sigh, I really can't bear to do this. Zhu Zhuqing sighed inwardly.

She had been hooked since the last time she stroked Wukong's tail. It was just so smooth and soft. Now, however, she had to cut it off, and Zhu Zhuqing wasn't quite used to the idea.

But for the sake of Wukong's strength and to help him break through his bottleneck, Zhu Zhuqing gritted her teeth and, with a swoosh, severed Wukong's tail at the base with her right hand.

"Oh! Crap." Wukong endured the pain, not letting out a sound.

Everyone below was focused on the coordination between Tang San and Xiao Wu, but no one saw the actions of Wukong and Zhu Zhuqing above.

Wukong took out a piece of gauze from his Storage Soul Tool, untied his belt, and slowly wrapped it around his waist to stop the bleeding from his severed tail.

"That really fucking hurts. If I'd known, I would have looked for some herbs similar to anesthetics."

"Are you alright?" Zhu Zhuqing's face was filled with worry as she comforted Wukong.

"Did I not use enough force just now? Or did I accidentally graze somewhere else?" Zhu Zhuqing forced Wukong's waist around to examine the place where she had just cut off his tail.

"No, no, no, you cut it perfectly. I also felt that the bottleneck broke through," Wukong explained quickly. He didn't want his little kitty to worry about him anymore.

Wukong fastened his belt, and his powerful recovery began to make the pain gradually subside.

"Stay in the air for a bit. I'll give you a Rider Kick performance once I'm down there," Wukong said as he slowly descended.

"What's a Rider Kick?" Zhu Zhuqing was intrigued by the term, as if she'd never heard it before.

Below, Tang San and Zhao Wuji were fighting fiercely. The Blue Silver Grass on the ground was torn apart, and even Xiao Wu rubbed her calf in pain, as if she had just accidentally pulled a muscle.

"I didn't expect those two to last this long. Alright, the protagonist's here." Wukong landed on the ground, patted the dust off his body, and carefully felt the sealed power within him.

I remember it's like concentrating the power in my back, and then following that force to feel the flow.

Wukong's aura surged, concentrating his energy on his back and following that force, feeling the refinement of every inch of his meridians.

"Aaaaaah!" Wukong roared, and the surrounding stones began to float weightlessly. A golden aura enveloped Wukong.

"Come on, come on, come on!" At this moment, Wukong felt endless energy surging within him, like he'd taken some kind of stimulant – the kind that never runs out, no matter how much he explores. "Super Saiyan, let them see what it means to be an insurmountable existence."

Zhao Wuji, who was currently entangled with Tang San and the others, sensed a massive surge of energy nearby.

"What a powerful soul force fluctuation! Could it be a Title Douluo?" Zhao Wuji's tone sounded somewhat hurried. He thought the Spirit Hall had discovered him.

The aura emanating from the golden flames stirred up gusts of dirt and wind, which stung his face.

The group looked towards Zhao Wuji's rear, and there they saw Wukong, golden flames blazing around him, his yellow hair standing on end, a brilliant golden color. His previously dark, firm eyebrows were now a golden hue, filled with spirit.

Especially those pale green eyes, which gave off a feeling of, "No matter how strong you are, I will always be above you."

"A monster, truly a monster!" A look of difficulty appeared on Zhao Wuji's brow. It was clear that he felt Wukong's strength was now definitely above his own.

"What should I do? Should I save face or just admit defeat?" Zhao Wuji hesitated, conflicted.

"No, admitting defeat is impossible. I have to save face."

Seven soul rings slowly rose around him, and the seventh, a black ten-thousand-year soul ring, seemed to be preparing to activate a soul skill.

"Is that even human?" Dai Mubai's eyes were filled with terror. He had seen Title Douluo in his empire and understood their terrifying pressure and aura.

Yet, the ordinary pressure emanating from Wukong now was almost superior to the Title Douluo Dai Mubai had encountered.

"Damn it!" Dai Mubai cursed inwardly, hesitating whether to carry out his previously planned scheme.

Xiao Wu had already been frightened to the point of collapse on the ground. She hadn't seen a Title Douluo, so she didn't know what kind of pressure they exerted, but what Wukong gave her was a suppression of the bloodline.

It was an innate sense of submission.

"Is this guy also a soul beast?" Xiao Wu's pretty face was pale, with a hint of terror in her eyes, but also a touch of curiosity.

"It's over. Looks like my chances of surpassing him are practically nonexistent." Tang San seemed to feel powerless, the overwhelming aura pressing down on him so much that he could barely breathe.

"No! I must increase my strength as soon as possible. As long as I can create the Three Hidden Weapons, no matter how powerful the enemy, I'll have the confidence to kill them!!!" Tang San said firmly in his heart, this was also his last psychological defense.

Ning Rongrong was still hiding behind a tree, occasionally peeking out her little head to take a look, her eyes on Wukong were even more enigmatic.

She felt that she understood him less and less: "So strong, just the aura he's emitting is no less powerful than Sword Grandpa and Bone Grandpa."

"Perhaps even above those two elders."

"I have to tell Dad quickly."

Wukong looked at everyone in front of him, who were casting surprised glances at him, and then shouted to the heavens: "I am..."

"Super Saiyan Wukong!!!"
