As the dust left behind by the golem's disintegration settled, the creature behind the destruction came into full view.
A massive Black Feline.
The beast that stepped forward was far more terrifying than the golem they had nearly died fighting.
Its entire body was a seamless expanse of void-black muscle, moving with silent, predatory grace. Its eyes—thin velvet slits of molten gold—cut through the air like blades, sharp enough to pierce straight into a person's soul.
Coiled around its body was a living harness of green vines, each strand twitching and tightening like hungry serpents. They slithered across its four-meter-tall, seven-meter-long frame, glowing faintly with pulsating life.
And atop it—
They hadn't even noticed him.
A young man sat casually on its back, as if none of them existed. He didn't spare Dale or the girls a single glance. His attention fixed entirely on the glowing core resting in Shyra's claws.
