Miho hesitated for only a moment before firing a few more shots. This time, a faint smile tugged at the corner of her lips.
"Alric," Lily said coldly, "remember this. If you so much as stroll near Miho again, there won't be anyone more dangerous to you than me."
Her eyes sharpened.
"Now leave. And never show your face to us again—unless you're courting death."
Alric stumbled away without even realizing he was practically naked.
He ran blindly down the street, muttering to himself while terror filled wide eyes.
"Never… I'll never go near that woman again. Fuck, what was I even thinking, trying to take her as a concubine? I'll die. Shit—how does that Leo guy even manage her? She's a monster!!"
The image of those devilish eyes would haunt him for the rest of his life.
Eyes that had watched him suffer with unmistakable delight.
