Chapter 129: Walking Fortress
At the moment, Leo was enjoying himself to the fullest.
He sat atop the Colossus's broad back as it moved through the forest.
No—
As it glided through it.
Quite literally.
This was the effect of its trait—
Controlled Weight Flow: It redistributes its massive weight through spiritual resonance, allowing it to walk without crushing the vegetation below, if willed. The effect also softens impacts across its body.
Despite its overwhelming size, the Colossus never damaged the flora beneath its feet as it moved.
The moment one of its feet brushed against soil, roots, or bark, a subtle, unseen pressure spread outward from below, subtly redistributing its weight, lifting its immense body just enough to keep it afloat.
The sight was almost magical.
It looked as though the forest itself had chosen to bear the giant's weight.
Still, Leo could tell the process wasn't automatic.
