Just like Leo had absorbed the treasures earlier, Lily did the same.
"Huh? How…" Leo muttered under his breath.
Lily picked up another Heartstone and crushed it in her palm.
The crystal shattered into countless motes of light that were absorbed into her body just as seamlessly as they had for Leo. She then turned to look at Leo, her brows knitting slightly in thought.
"Somehow, I have a feeling that this is related to you," Lily said thoughtfully. "I mean… the only reason I can absorb these should be because of my connection with you."
Seeing this, even Miho reached out and tried to pluck one of the Heartstones. But before her fingers could close around it, Lily sharply smacked her palm away.
"You don't do it," Lily said firmly. "I'm pretty sure you won't be able to absorb it like we can."
Miho froze for a moment before nodding dejectedly and withdrawing her hand.
Leo immediately checked Lily's status.
Sure enough, her stats had increased.
