Chapter 255: Competition Final Phase
After the breakfast was over, Leo and his group prepared to leave for the Arena.
While waiting at the base of the plateau, a familiar splash of blue caught their eyes.
The three blue-haired girls came hurrying toward them through the trees and bushes, waving their hands.
"Please wait! We would also like to go with you!"
"We will pay for our own ride!" Aina added quickly.
Leo raised an eyebrow.
"But we pay extra fare charges for our special ride," he said calmly.
"H-huh? Why?" Mira asked, her shoulders stiffening as she glanced at Lily nervously, clearly afraid the girl might lash out simply because they had dared to talk to Leo.
"He doesn't reveal our whereabouts to anyone," Lily explained flatly. "And we have an exclusive contract with him."
"Oh…"
"W-we can pay…" they finally responded after a brief pause.
However, the moment they reached their destination and saw the final price, regret immediately washed over them.
