Chapter 331: Sylrael
A pair of crystal green eyes shot open as the lime green-haired girl jolted upright from her leafy bed. She wore fitted garments of cured animal hide and woven bark fibre, trimmed with feathers and small, vivid-coloured gems. The long pointed ears marked her unmistakably as an elf.
She looked very pretty—so much so that nations would go to war just to get their hands on her.
Her hand immediately reached for the carved longbow lying beside her. Her eyes were wide, and sweat beaded across her skin as she panted lightly. Just then, the door to her room swung open.
A similar elven girl with delicate features rushed inside and hurried straight to her side.
"Sylrael! What happened?!" the other girl asked the one lying on the bed.
"Why did you shout in our minds?"
The one on the bed, revealed to be Sylrael, grabbed the other girl's hands. They were trembling horribly.
"Hide..." she whispered, her face pale with horror.
