Ding. The sound of the elevator chiming at each floor took me out of my thoughts as I thought about the man I just met.
Loki. He's definitely a top hero but yet I'm drawing a blank for any time that I could've ever seen him. I didn't watch a whole lot of TV because I didn't care for the hero stuff, but he was mentioned somewhere.
Maybe it was at the office when I still worked there since there was quite a few people who actively watched the broadcasts. That would make the most amount of sense if anything.
The door finally opens up at my floor and I can see Lumina standing ahead, right outside my door. She was definitely waiting for me which was interesting.
I made my out of the elevator and to the front of my door. "Hey? I wasn't expecting you here." I say nervously.
Obviously I had a bit of an idea because of Celeste but that's not the point here. This is probably going to be about the team up stuff.
I need to find a way to keep everything under the radar still... I can't risk giving away that I have a system in the first place. That'll put me in quite the compromising position.
I'm sure I'll have some people sent to deal with me easily.
I need to get some more powerful skills before that even becomes a possibility that I have to worry about. For now I'll just have to deal with it day by day.
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything, I just wanted to talk with you." Lumina says with a soft tone.
"That's perfectly okay. Come inside." I respond before opening the door.
She follows me inside and over to the couch. It was interesting to see how good she could "see" since she has that blindfold on. Heightened senses must be a real powerful thing to have.
But I could tell that wasn't all she had since she has this strange aura radiating off of her.

No, no, no. I cannot just go for heroes like her... Especially if you are referring to a romantic relationship. I've never really had much experience with that stuff.
It also wouldn't sit right with me to be dating any of the girls here with my system being a secret like it is.
~Finding people you can trust is also important. You won't be able to fight heroes alone for quite some time, even then they might still pose a pretty big problem. (๑•﹏•).
I don't have any intentions of fighting against heroes at the moment, at least not if I can help it. We are on the same side so I would hope they wouldn't fight me because of something as stupid as having a system.
That is what I'd be more concerned about I guess.
"You have a unique power I've never heard anyone say they've had before, luck." Lumina speaks with a bit of shock in her voice.
"Y...Yeah. luck, strength, and speed. I'm very fortunate to have them." I respond while trying to keep calm.
"No need to be nervous or anything around me. I promise I don't bite. I'm just curious about you is all." Lumina assures me while leaning back on the couch.
Hard not to be nervous when a top tier hero is sitting on my couch and she happens to be quite beautiful as well. If she really is blind... It is a shame that she misses out on some of the most amazing sights in the city.
But she is interested in my luck, not too surprised by that. Seems most people here will be curious about it since it is not a common thing to be claimed as a power.
Everyone has luck. But my luck is definitely way different than anything that anyone could ever imagine.

I forget that you can probably hear a lot of my thoughts. I don't mind it but it is still going to take a lot of adjusting. I've never really gotten used to it yet.

"Saito?" Lumina calls out softly.
"Sorry, I just think about a lot of things sometimes. I've just always been nervous around women, I don't really know why. But I believe you won't bite." I reply while keeping a calm tone.
"Great. Then I look forward to working together on our first mission." Lumina says with a bit of excitement.
First mission? I knew this was coming but I didn't think they called them missions here. I guess the commission would do that or maybe they prefer it.
I don't really know anything to make an actual guess about it.
"What exactly is our first mission?" I ask with a bit of curiosity.
She turns towards me slightly. "We'll be dealing with a villain known as Iron Requiem. He's been causing quite a bit of problems so I figured it would be a good mission for us to take on together." Lumina answers with more of a serious tone.
"Am I ready to fight another villain though? Silver Neko did a lot of the work." I say with my nervousness starting to show again.
"That's why it is a team up. If you have any problems, I'm there to help. That's how it works so you have nothing to worry about." She reassures me.
Maybe during my time here it would be smart to catch up on some of the information about the villains. Especially if I'm going to be fighting them a lot more frequently.
It'll definitely be smarter than going in blind.
"But before we leave, I think you need a different outfit." Lumina continues on.
"No offense... But how would you know what I'm wearing?" I question.
"I know you just came back and you are a new hero so you definitely need a new outfit for when you are out and about." Lumina answers without any problem.
"I just need a new suit and I can handle the rest. I prefer it over an actual costume." I say while standing up from the couch.
It makes sense, she put everything together logically. I don't know why I even questioned it but I'll figure out a suit and have the system help alter my hairstyle and eye color.
We'll see about the hair color if I really need to but I'm content with the black.
