Few hours ago...
Carl had just passed an interview to work in a company he had his eyes on. It had taken more than half of the day and he was ready to go home but something had made him stay. He sat in the lobby and just stared at the business card given to him by his ex. He had seen her greeting people the world saw as great... Valkyrie was actually one of them. He had run into her by mistake but she didn't have that warm attitude towards him anymore. He was merely an employee cos he just found out that she ran the company. It was a bad idea to go to a hotel room and so he just sat and was deep in thought. He didn't know how long he'd been there but it was almost night time. Carl got up to leave but his body betrayed him and moved on it's own to find the hotel room.

A few knocks on the door and a smokey voice flowed out.

The present situation...
