Zeke's heart almost stopped. At first, his head went entirely blank, then it rebooted and her name had his heart pounding.

It all made sense now. Perfect sense. Her identity was the reason why she had hidden it from him. He recalled their discussion about her and his comment on it, that if he ever met her, he wouldn't like her. He must have scared her after saying that.
Zeke didn't say anything. He was sure words would be enough. All he knew was that the possessive feeling he had toward her could not be quenched by anything, and so he pulled her into a hug.
Theo glanced at him for a second. He was taking the revelation much better than she had imagined. She thought he might glare at her or something.
"You're mine, Theodora," He declared strongly, "I won't let anyone take you away from me,"
