Eryx was still worried about everything going on when the door opened abruptly.
"Eryx, you have a visitor," a teacher announced, barely hiding their curiosity.
Laila walked in, radiant as ever with energy sparkling off her. She waved playfully at the class.
"Hi! class!" she called out then turned. "What's up, brother?"
Whispers immediately rippled through the classroom.
Whoa… is that Eryx's sister? She's… wow. Hot. They look alike... Finally seen who Eryx took over.
Eryx rolled his eyes so hard it was audible, rose to his feet, and strode over to her, his hand reaching for hers. "What are you doing?" he asked sharply.
Laila leaned in, voice playful and low.
"I came to check if I'd see my prince charming again."
Eryx's jaw clenched. Without hesitation, he grabbed her hand to drag her out before anyone else could comment. But then, a voice came from the back, like he was joking but couldn't help the tease.
