Before winter ended, Eric still ruthlessly organized a remedial class, and the location was the mess hall.
In his basement, there was a whole floor filled with paper; half was for writing, and the other half was toilet paper.
Only with toilet paper did the tribesmen realize how miserably they had lived before. Just as Eric predicted, they loved life with toilet paper, so they used up more than half of that stock over the winter. Conversely, the writing paper remained almost untouched.
This time, the writing paper came in handy for teaching the Snow Wolf people the human written language; Eric had even prepared graphite pencils.
If beastmen had their own writing system, Eric certainly wouldn't have forced every tribesman to learn so formally; not everyone needs to know a foreign language.
But what could be done? Beastmen had never had a written language, and they couldn't remain illiterate forever. After thinking for a while, Eric decided to teach the common human language.
