Eric didn't like watching them fight anyway, so he decidedly went ahead.
Max nodded, naturally piggybacking him, and walked towards the Horned Goat tribe's tent.
"No need to carry me, it's not far. I walk very fast now!"
Eric kicked his legs, complaining unhappily on Max's back.
Max patted his back gently: "Alright, behave a little. It's not the first time anyway."
Actually, Eric was often carried by Max, especially when in a hurry. With his help, he saved a lot of time.
The reason he complained was that this scene was too childish. He wasn't really a beast cub, so it was no wonder he had always suspected Max saw him as a younger brother...
Kevin watched the figures of the two walking away, his eyes helpless, while the sound of rapid punches and kicks continued behind him.
He turned to look at Sam: "Say, why was Max angry back then? We didn't say anything wrong."
Sam nodded furiously, expressing agreement.
