One day, Eric planned to go home to see how the fermented chilies were doing. As soon as he entered the door, he heard a "crack-crack" sound.
The noise came from the storage room. He had a guess in his heart and walked over gently.
Sure enough, in the corner where the Marble bird eggs were placed, the giant egg that looked like a dinosaur egg was no longer there, leaving only a pile of broken eggshells on the ground.
Eric's gaze moved upward and saw a grey chick standing there on two thin little legs, intently gnawing on an eggshell.
