The massive blood beast, under Darean's control, relentlessly assaulted the city walls of Mushroom City. The defensive runes floated out from the wall structure, lighting up layer by layer and extinguishing one by one under the collision.
On the city walls, the Puki poured mushroom cannons onto the blood beasts below. As soon as one batch exhausted its magic power, another batch of Puki quickly replenished their ranks.
Some Puki even jumped down to self-destruct as they approached the enemy.
However, the Puki also endured attacks from the sky.
Blood Lineage members flew in the air, conjuring slender blood arrows that rained down from above.
The blood arrows lost most of their force as they passed through the defensive magic array in the city sky, unable to kill ordinary soldiers directly, but still possessed the ability to instantly kill Puki.
