The sound of fingers clicking echoed out, coming from Sara, whose fingers clicked nervously against each other.
Her gaze remained buried at her feet, heads drooping low.
Staring silently, opposite was Everlearn, a steaming cup of coffee before him.
He had received the system's notification that it was free of poison, and he was still quite surprised.
He turned to her, taking a sip before saying:
"I wouldn't have done that."
"Huh?"
It was a word that finally brought her neck out of the table, her clicking fingers pausing, though a pink blush quickly spread out her cheeks.
"A guy covered in blood jumps through your window, clamps a hand over your mouth, clearly running from something and obviously a Corer, yet you still let him stay in your home, use your shower, and even serve him coffee."
He said, as the blush on her cheeks halted, a more focused expression appeared.
"That's not something I would have done."
