Scene 1 — Alarm at Sunagakure
The early morning sun barely touched the village of sand. But the usual calm of Sunagakure was shattered. Smoke billowed from the outskirts, and alarms echoed across the streets.
Kaelen, Riku, Riyomi, Haru, and Kiran arrived just as Chiyo emerged from the shadows, puppets at the ready. Her eyes narrowed.
"They've taken Gaara," she said coldly, her hands moving swiftly to manipulate her puppets. "Deidara and Sasori. They're after him — and you're just in time… maybe."
Finally, a real mission, Kaelen thought, gripping his black sword. No distractions. No training dummies. This is life or death.
Kiran glanced at him. "Stay close. Kaelen, your abilities will matter. But remember — they're stronger than anything we faced in training."
Stronger… good. Then I'll show them what I've become.
Scene 2 — Pursuit Through the Desert
The team raced through the desert outskirts, sand whipping against their faces. Kaelen ran lightly, Sage Mode activating in short bursts to sharpen his senses.
Every grain of sand… every whisper of wind… I can sense them.
Riku threw a kunai to distract a clay bird Deidara sent overhead. Riyomi and Haru flanked the team, supporting with elemental jutsus to keep the battlefield manageable.
Kaelen's mind worked like a strategist's. Don't overcommit. Protect my team. Take advantage of openings.
In the distance, a figure soared above — Deidara's clay bird. Another shadow flickered near a canyon — Sasori's puppet army advancing.
Scene 3 — Chiyo's Strategy
Chiyo moved like a general, pulling strings, literally. Her puppets launched attacks and blocked paths, funneling Deidara's and Sasori's forces into predictable channels.
Kaelen slashed through a puppet controlling mechanism. Sparks flew. Not direct damage… just to buy time.
"Kaelen!" Chiyo's voice rang sharp. "Focus on mobility. Observe and support — leave the heavy damage to me."
Observe and support… got it.
Kaelen used Substitution Jutsu to switch positions with a log, avoiding a clay bomb explosion. Shadow clones created multiple points of pressure, confusing the Akatsuki.
This… this is how teamwork amplifies power.
Scene 4 — First Direct Confrontation
Deidara descended, clay birds circling him like a deadly storm. Kaelen's black blade hummed faintly, infused with chakra.
This is my chance to test Sage Mode again… but only for a few seconds.
He activated Sage Mode. The world sharpened. Every movement of Deidara's clay birds was clear, every wind shift visible.
Observation Haki… let's see if this helps me anticipate his attacks.
Kaelen moved with precision, blocking a clay bird mid-flight with a single mirrored slash. Shadow clones engaged Sasori's puppets, giving Chiyo openings to counterattack.
Deidara's eyes widened slightly. Interesting…
Scene 5 — Protecting Gaara
The team reached Gaara's holding spot. A large sand dome shielded the Kazekage, and Sasori's puppets guarded him.
"Kaelen," Chiyo ordered, "you and Riku create an opening. Riyomi and Haru will assist me in neutralizing the puppets."
Kaelen nodded. Time to coordinate.
Using Swift Mount Slash and Mirage Storm, Kaelen disrupted Sasori's lines, while his clones provided multiple angles of attack. Sage Mode heightened reflexes, letting him evade the deadly counterattacks with ease.
We'll get him out. Stay calm, precise… one step at a time.
Scene 6 — Clash with Deidara
Deidara's clay bird swooped low, attempting to detonate near Gaara. Kaelen dashed forward.
Body Flicker Jutsu… now!
In a blur, he intercepted the bird with a precise strike. The explosion erupted around him, sand and dust filling the air, but Sage Mode and armament Haki protected him from severe harm.
Deidara grinned. "Not bad… but you're just a Genin-level swordsman playing with fire."
Kaelen's eyes narrowed. Genin or not, I've trained for this moment. I won't lose.
He readied his blade. Shadow clones prepared positions for counterattack. We'll escape Gaara safely, or die trying.
Scene 7 — Extraction and Aftermath
With Chiyo's puppets holding off the remaining threats, Kaelen and his team formed a protective perimeter around Gaara. Carefully, they maneuvered him to safety.
Kaelen glanced at the Akatsuki's retreating figures. They've noticed me. My presence matters to them now.
Chiyo nodded approvingly. "You've grown… both in skill and judgment. Remember, battles are not just about strength — strategy and teamwork save lives."
Kaelen wiped sand and sweat from his brow. This is only the beginning. I'll master Sage Mode, Haki, my sword… and next time, I'll be ready for anything.
The desert wind carried the distant echoes of Deidara and Sasori. Somewhere beyond, the Akatsuki's hunt continued, but Kaelen's black blade glimmered in the sunlight, a promise that he would not be overlooked again.
I'll rise. I'll survive. And I will become the strongest swordsman the ninja world has ever seen.
