Scarlet's appearance wiped out what little hope the hunters had.
The moment they saw her, they knew there was no way out. Their prayers stuck in their throats, their legs refused to move. All that remained was to accept their fate.
"Trash." Scarlet spat contemptuously at the hunters' attitude.
She snapped her fingers.
Swoosh!
A crimson blaze engulfed the hunters. Screams tore through the night.
"AHHHHHHHH!"
They ran, engulfed in flames, colliding with each other and falling to the ground like headless chickens. The air was filled with the smell of burning flesh and despair.
Scarlet walked with elegant, sensual steps, ignoring the screams, to where Lucien lay unconscious, his chest wound now completely closed.
She looked at him and remembered when he had marked them as his; he had ended up lying down in the same way as now, although the circumstances were very different.
"Finally, we meet again," she said without waiting for a response. Then she turned her gaze to Sesha: "Tell me what happened."
Sesha let out a long sigh. She knew that with Scarlet there, they were no longer in danger. She began to tell her everything, while Scarlet listened with a smile that she couldn't tell was amusement or contempt.
...
"Hahaha~ Son of the devil? Those hunters couldn't be more wrong." Scarlet put a finger to her lips, smiling mischievously. "Although... I'm not surprised she thinks he's Vlad's son."
Sesha looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Do you know something?"
Scarlet tilted her head, her red hair falling like liquid fire over her shoulders. "No," she replied in a sweet, almost sing-song voice. "But if I knew something... would I tell you? It would be boring to ruin the mystery."
Sesha rolled her eyes. "Forget it." It's too much to keep asking. She looks at Lucien's body and picks it up, saying, "Let's go to Selene's house."
Scarlet watched her, smiling like a satisfied goddess. "Mmm~ what a beautiful night..." She slowly turned her face in one direction and her lips curved into a sensual smile: "They're quite late."
"???" Sesha looks at her, confused. Are more people coming? And she can't help but think, 'I just go out to meet my husband and everything turns into chaos.' The life of a hunted woman is complicated.
Suddenly, two women appear before them.
"Darling!"
Selene and Roxana arrived and saw Sesha carrying Lucien's unconscious body.
"WHO THE HELL DID IT!" Selene screamed with a fury that rattled the windows.
"Ugh..." Sesha frowned. "Could you yell a little quieter? You're almost breaking my eardrums."
She added, "Let's go to your house, and I'll tell you everything there."
Selene inhaled and exhaled several times, calming her emotions, then after a few seconds, she nodded.
Soon, the four women disappeared from the scene, leaving the whole mess behind.
A few minutes later, a group of Inquisition hunters arrived ready for combat, having received the report minutes earlier, but when they arrived, only ashes remained.
Seeing the scene, they sighed heavily.
Calix, a dark-haired man with a tired look, surveyed the charred field. "...We're too late."
He kneels and begins to pray for all the fallen combatants.
"Calix, this is very serious..." A man's voice sounded concerned.
"What's going on now?" Calix opened his eyes and stopped praying: "Tell me you didn't interrupt my prayer for something silly," he said in a neutral tone. He doesn't like to be interrupted when he's praying.
Especially when his prayer is for his comrades who fell in the line of duty.
"That demon was here..."
"..." Calix fell silent, as if he had misheard... but unfortunately, he heard perfectly well: "What!?"
"That's right, there's only one vampire who can use fire, and that's that demon," said the hunter with a slight tremor.
"Are you serious?" Calix wants to deny any possibility, even if it were a lie, but his partner's confirmation makes him sigh heavily: "Oh, my God! That demon was here. Quick, take the bodies and let's go!" he ordered. He had to return quickly to report this directly to the Vatican, where the headquarters of the organization, the Inquisition, is located.
The hunters recovered the bodies of the fallen combatants.
...
October 12, five days after Sesha was attacked by the Inquisition hunters, and Lucien took on that strange form.
Day.
Current location... Vatican City, headquarters of the Inquisition.
"So a descendant of a demon appeared in New York..." A man with golden hair and blue eyes speaks with a weary expression. He raises his hand to his forehead and says, "It's really true."
His expression said it all: either this was a joke, or all hell had just broken loose.
"That's right, Your Holiness." One of those present turns on a screen and shows a recording that was taken from one of the cameras.
On the huge screen, a creature composed of a dark substance can be seen, with only red eyes and sharp teeth like those of a shark visible, drinking the blood from the hunters' hearts.
The video couldn't be clearer; there was no way it could be a lie.
"..." The man's expression crumbles: "There is no longer any doubt that he is a descendant of Vlad Tepes. What do you think, my generals?" he asks, looking at the three generals present.
D, Luke Van Hellsing, and Sypha remain silent for a moment.
"His Holiness Adam, don't forget that the fire demon is also in that city," said Luke, who is still seriously injured after his confrontation with Scarlet.
Although he feels that she deliberately left him alive, he cannot bear the humiliation: his father's killer has spared his life. He clenches his fist tightly to restrain himself.
"Ah, right, I had forgotten about that demon..." Adam sighed, and a sad expression appeared on his face as he looked at D: "Did you manage to recover the blood of Christ?" he asked, hoping for good news.
But he was bound to be disappointed.
"No," D replied in a cold tone.
Adam takes a deep breath with his hand on his forehead, looks at the generals with a tired expression: "Continue your work of eliminating those vampires, but avoid the Scarlet Demon and Vlad's descendant," he ordered.
"But, Your Holiness…" Sypha retorts, "We can't let that vampire grow up. You know how dangerous they are to our world. They're like a walking nuclear bomb. We have to take them down now!"
"You may continue with your work. May the Lord be with you." Adam's tone brooked no further argument. He was the highest authority and the closest to God.
Sypha wanted to respond... but in the end, she had to swallow her words and leave the room.
The other two generals also left, leaving only Adam and his subordinate behind.
"A storm is coming..." Adam muttered, touching the wooden crucifix on his chest.
...
Selene's house.
"Ugh..." Lucien slowly opened his eyes. His whole body ached as if he had been crushed by a building. He tried to sit up, but a feeling of extreme heaviness kept him glued to the bed.
"What... is going on?" he muttered hoarsely.
He looked down... and understood the reason for his paralysis. Three women were sleeping on top of him, completely naked. His mind wanted to ask a question, but his body decided for him: he let out a tired sigh and dropped his head back onto the pillow.
For a moment, silence enveloped him.
In his mind, he began to review what had happened: the confrontation with the hunters, the fury, the transformation... and that new power.
Hemoquinesis.
He clearly remembered the moment when he created that sphere of blood. Driven by curiosity, he raised his hand. A drop emerged from his index finger, floating in the air as if awaiting his commands.
With a thought, the drop stretched and hardened, transforming into a thin crimson stick.
"So it wasn't my imagination..." he murmured, before closing his fingers; the small projectile dissolved into thin air.
His gaze drifted to the ceiling as he reflected. 'I need a teacher,' he thought calmly.
Training with Selene had been helpful, yes, but... not enough.
"I'm really a novice," he sighed with a half-smile, before turning his gaze back to the three women sharing his bed. "Although... I can't say I'm in a bad situation."
Lucien closed his eyes again with the intention of continuing to sleep... but suddenly he felt something invading his mouth.
He opened his eyes with a start, only to find Selene kissing him with a passion that seemed to want to force life back into him. Their tongues began a battle so intense that any spectator would have called for a timeout.
After a minute that seemed like an eternity, Selene pulled away, leaving a thin string of saliva between them.
"You finally woke up, idiot," she murmured, her face resting on his chest. Although her tone sounded annoyed, the relief in her voice gave her away.
Lucien, still half dazed, blinked. "How long was I asleep?"
"Five days, Darling~." The answer did not come from Selene, but from a woman with dark blue hair and a mischievous smile who approached elegantly.
"Hello, darling~," she said, raising a hand in a playful gesture. "I'm your third wife, Sesha."
Before he could say anything, he heard a feminine laugh.
"Hahaha... so that's what's been going on these past few days. To think that worm was working with the Inquisition... the old man isn't going to like that one bit."
Lucien turned his head. A woman he didn't recognize was talking to Luna in the hallway.
When their eyes met, the air changed: the temperature rose suddenly, as if summer had burst into the room.
"You're finally awake, husband." Her voice was sweet poison; her smile, a mixture of sensuality and menace.
…
Minutes later, Lucien was sitting on a luxurious sofa, surrounded by four female vampires who looked like they had stepped straight out of a dream... or a very attractive nightmare.
In front of him:
A woman with red hair and a fiery gaze, the kind of mature beauty who knew exactly the effect she had on men.
In short, a vampiric Milf.
At her side, a woman with black and white hair, elegantly demeanored, worthy of nobility.
Next to her, a blonde with soft curls, with the poise and confidence of a businesswoman accustomed to commanding.
And finally, one with dark blue hair, impossible curves, and a portable console in her hands, as relaxed as if she were in the middle of a vacation.
They were Scarlet, Selene, Roxana, and Sesha.
Lucien looked at them with a smile: "So... you're all my wives, right?"
"Yes," they replied in unison, each with her own tone: sensual, cold, authoritative, and distracted.
Lucien chuckled softly and leaned back on the sofa.
"So this is... my vampire life with my beautiful vampire wives."
...
[This is the end of volume 1. It was quite short, but I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. As you may have noticed, it's similar to other works, but that will change in the next volume... So, thank you for your support!]
