Lucien walks past the two maids who stare at him as if he were some kind of strange specimen, with Sesha still in his arms.
He glanced at them quickly: his eyes glowed with a liquid red, revealing the scarlet auras of both of them. They were strong, not as strong as Scarlet or Walter, but stronger than his own.
Feeling Sesha's calm breathing against his chest, he lost interest and continued on his way to the mansion.
"As expected, Mrs. Scarlet's husband is not a normal person," Melenia speaks with a sigh, as if what she is seeing is a different species from them.
"…" Adele is still in shock from what she experienced a moment ago. Where did that feeling of servitude come from? It was too overwhelming, as if she were standing in front of her father.
But Melenia's next words snap her out of her thoughts:
"What's the matter? Are you considering turning the cattle into your husband?" she says in a mocking tone.
