"Clayton, what are you doing?" Rain asked and we both stared at her.
"Taking my wife to her room. What else does it seem like?" He asked adjusting my body on his arms softly.
"Y... You're really married to her. I... I thought you were joking when you said you were." Rain muttered innocently like a little wronged child. She reminded me so much of Mirabelle.
"I've been trying to call you for hours Clayton, but you kept busying my line." She said pitifully.
Just like it happens all the time, I expected Clayton to drop me immediately and maybe send me off with Lucifurr since his childhood sweetheart was here. But he did none of that.
"I was busy with work." He said.
"And you're coming from your room. You never let anyone in there Clayton." Rain's voice shook. I could see how hard she was trying not to break.
"You promised to escort me shopping today. I think your wife is perfectly fine and would not want to be carried around like a baby."
