Zion had no time to dwell on what exactly his D-rank blade did. All he knew was that it could cut through external armor after a second—and that was enough.
The dust clouds slowly started to settle, forcing Zion to jump deeper into the formation.
"Hana's dead!" the enemy commander shouted across the battlefield. "Take over the right corner!"
"Tch," Zion let out, pushing his feet off the ground.
He lunged forward, crossing three dozen yards in three seconds.
"There!" someone shouted on his left.
Zion's instincts screamed at him to dodge. He listened immediately, sliding over the ground as an energy bullet soared over his body.
"Watch out for crossfire, you dumb motherfuckers!" a hoarse male voice shouted from his right.
Zion immediately got back on his feet and continued, heading straight for the commander.
"Cease fire!" the commander shouted, immediately taking control of the situation. "Everyone, take out melee and surround the target!"
