"Hey! Kaito!" a voice yelled from afar. Kaito was now walking on the narrow brick pathway. The sanctuary was about 50 miles away, as Kaito could see the towering castle.
"You're ignoring me, punk!!" the voice yelled.
Kaito looked and saw three boys who were muscular and fat, but he feared them. This wasn't just any boy band; they were the group that had constantly made his life a living hell after it was announced that he would be the leader of the Ayanami clan.
'Grrrr'night, snarled at the boys.
"Calm down, night, let's act in our best way possible, we don't wanna get a beating today," Kaito whispered to Night.
'meow'the cat sounded as if saying " you are a coward"
"yes I know," Kaito said blankly and ran towards the boys.
"WWhat's wrong with the little kitty? Is she sick?" one of the boys said sarcastically.
"Yes, she hurt her paw yesterday and I..."
"SHUT UP!!"WHO ASKED FOR YOUR OPINION WEAKLING!" The boy in the middle yelled, "BOW! DROP THE BLASTED CAT AND BOW ON YOUR KNEES!"
Kaito did as he was told, and soon they started kicking him.
"Why…" he whispered, choking back sobs as the bullies' laughter echoed in his ears. "Why is the world so cruel to me? Why does it hate me so much?"The boys stopped for a moment, sneering down at him, and one spat: "Because weaklings don't deserve to rule ."Kaito's shoulders shook. His tears dripped onto the floor . He pressed his hands against his face, trying to shut out the world, but the pain inside him broke through.And then—A sound, low and guttural, rumbled through the air. The bullies froze. From the shadows at Kaito's side, where a small, fox-like creature had been quietly watching, something shifted. Night's fur bristled, her dark purple eyes glowing. Slowly, she began to increase in size till she became a giant blackish purple fox.
Night's claws tore through the earth like blades plowing soil, sending chunks of dirt flying. She roared, and it was loud and shook the whole area. making wind pressure slightly push back the bullies. The bullies were already half-dead with fear, screaming, stumbling backward, And then—light split the sky.The air cracked. Four figures landed,their presence so heavy it crushed the bullies flat against the ground. They were unable to move. The pressure that was emitted by these four people made gravity so heavy that it pushed them down.The first to step forward was the Hoshigane leader of fire, his long coat flaring with embers. "Stand back!" he barked," the demon night fox is going in berserk mode! Isn't that true?!"he looked at the Ayanami leader, and she nodded.
slamming his palm into the ground. A wall of red-hot flames roared upward, cutting Night off from the boys. But the demon-fox simply slashed through it with one claw, and the fire wall recoiled.
"It deflected MY flame wall with a single attack! Such power is unimaginable!" the hoshigane leader of fire said.
" It seems as if we might have to get serious with this one," the leader of Ayanami said. She wore a long pink gown and had a cape that had paintings of butterflies on it.
"Since it has gone berserk, I can calm it down telepathically, " the Asakara leader walked forward.
The Asakura clan leader raised his hand, eyes glowing with telepathic might. Dozens of green luminous chains of thought coiled outward, invisible to all but those with Kannen sensitivity. The chains whipped around Night's body, aiming to lock her mind in stillness. But Night's roar shattered them one by one, fragments of thought scattering like glass, and the Asakura leader gripped his stomach.
"Her spirit pressure—it's endless!" he gasped, barely keeping his footing.
"Why don't we use a more direct approach?" the hoshigane leader of water said
The Hoshigane of water surged forward, stomping into the earth. From beneath, a colossal vortex of water erupted, swallowing Night in a spiral prison. The torrent rose higher than the rooftops, spinning like a cyclone, locking her in a cage of liquid spinning higher.But within seconds, Night's monstrous claws ripped through it. Steam exploded outward, a cloud so hot and thick it burned the grass to ash. Her silhouette loomed inside, claws glowing like burnt obsidian.Finally, the Ayanami leader extended both hands, summoning pure spirit energy.
" ancient monarchs of Kannen!" she yelled." Summon!!"
Bright white butterflies appeared, twinkling like stars. They all went attached to Night like a holy net. The land quaked as the seals burned into the earth, anchoring the beast down.Still—she broke through. Her roar split the sky, tearing clouds apart. One claw swipe shattered the cluster in half, spirit butterflies turning to ash. The leader staggered back, her lips pale. "Impossible… this isn't just a contract spirit. She's a monster.....!"The four leaders exchanged grim nods. They knew what this meant."Combine it!" the fire patriarch growled." Together, our attacks should take it down! let's attack it simultaneously!"At once, their powers surged together — flame, water, spirit, and thought — crashing into Night in a single overwhelming power! It combined to form a raindow colored flame . The ground split. and quaked, Lightning cracked across the sky. The entire district shook under the pressure of their fusion technique.
Night screamed, her monstrous body twisting. The claws slashed, the jaws snapped, but the net of sealing energy pressed down, crushing her shadow until at last — with one final roar that echoed for miles — she collapsed.Smoke curled from her body as she shrank back into the small fox, limp and unconscious at Kaito's side.Kaito fell to his knees, clutching her tight.
