"You said you had it under control!" Lia's voice echoed through the room as she dropped her phone and a paper on the table. "What the hell is this?"
I frowned, picking up the paper. Though I already knew its contents, I found myself reading it repeatedly.
The news was about Charlene and the Luna Queen, with various headlines, including one that read, "The former crown princess has returned."
Another headline mocked, "The Queen mother has decided to make the cheating crown princess the royal family's chef." The most irritating part was when they mentioned Draven's children: "Will they be the direct heir or just heirs?"
"When you saw her drowning, you should have pretended not to see her, but instead, you jumped in to save her, and now, all of this is happening because you care about her!" Lia's accusations rang out.
