"Do I care?" Harry laughed as another spell left his wand. The massacre was about to continue.
The spell from Harry's wand struck another of the Death Eaters, and the man began to convulse violently.
He clutched his throat and began gasping desperately for breath, but to no avail. There was no comfort. On the contrary, the pain in his body continued to increase as grunts of pain escaped from his lips.
In moments, his body turned pale and began to shrivel, while he let out an inhumane shriek of agony. Harry's spell was draining every last bit of air and water from inside his body.
Moments later, the shrieking ceased, and the Death Eater collapsed to the ground. His body was as dry as sand in a blazing desert. Devoid of even the slightest moisture, his body crumbled apart like a heap of dust.
Amelia and the death eaters standing outside the dome were shocked at the brutality of the spell.
"Stop it!" Amelia roared from outside the dome. "Everyone!"
Following her lead, all the Aurors launched spells at the dome. Myriads of spells collided with the dome but it was of no use. The barrier held firm, dispersing every spell harmlessly. It was like a mountain being poked by ants.
The remaining eight Death Eaters were now truly hopeless, yet they mustered their courage for one final attack. As if linked by a shared instinct, all eight simultaneously fired curses at Harry. 4 of which were jet green killing curses.
They clung to the faint hope that one of their spells might strike the monster standing before them. Even if he was not killed, perhaps, he might be badly injured and his dome would falter at least. This was their last bit of hope.
Harry smirked. With a wave of his wand, the ground in front of him trembled, and a stone wall rose up. The incoming spells collided with the wall, causing it to explode. The killing curses were neutralized by the solid wall, while the shattered debris flew toward Harry.
He calmly waved his wand again, and a green light flashed around him. A magical shield formed in front of him.
The debris and residual spells slammed into the shield but not even a crack appeared. It was like a powerful wizard dealing with some kids. The death eaters were no match for Harry.
The spells vanished, and the rubble clattered harmlessly to the ground.
Harry shook his head and cast another spell. This time, it was a summoning charm and what he summoned was a massive pillar of stone above the Death Eaters' heads.
The pillar plummeted, crushing two of them before they could even react or scream. Their bodies burst apart under the immense pressure, reduced to pulp. Blood and gore again splattered as the pillars struck the ground with a thud.
It was a horrific scene to witness but Harry did not even flinch. But the aurors outside the dome were not so mentally strong. Few of them were shivering and few were on their knees witnessing a scene like this.
"You all are not even giving me a bit of fun," Harry muttered, waving his wand once more.
A massive spiral of fire erupted from his wand and hurtled toward the remaining Death Eaters. The blazing vortex engulfed three of them.
They shrieked in agony, convulsing and struggling, but the fire showed no mercy and did not diminish in the slightest.
By the time the fire extinguished not even their bones were remaining. They had been reduced to piles of ash which scattered in the wind.
Outside the dome, Amelia Bones clenched her fists. An expression of frustration was etched on her face. Though she harboured no sympathy for the Death Eaters and would have gladly killed them herself, it enraged her to be unable to stop the slaughter when she wished to. The feeling of being weak, of being powerless was frustrating her.
Slaughtering so many people, even if they were death eaters, publicly was not going to be a good thing. Especially when a lot of people from other nations were also present at the venue. More troubling, however, was the growing fear in her heart. The mysterious man's power was beyond anything she had seen.
A part of her did not want to provoke him. With his strength and what he had shown, he could wipe out all of them herself and her Aurors without breaking a sweat.
Although she had sensed no malice from him, she was not about to gamble on mere assumptions. She did not want to utter something which might enrage the man.
"Now, what spell should I use to kill the last three of you?" Harry mused aloud, one hand resting thoughtfully on his chin.
"Yes… this should work just fine," he chuckled after a pause.
Harry cast another spell. A greyish light erupted from his wand and, after a few seconds, split into two additional streaks.
The three spells struck the remaining Death Eaters. They immediately felt two opposing forces tearing at them. One pulling their heads upward, the other pulling their legs downward.
They screamed in agony, but the pain was short lived. Within moments, their bodies gave in to the forces.
Each of them was ripped apart at the abdomen, their torsos and legs separated violently. Their insides spilled out, splattering the ground.
The spectators and Aurors recoiled at the gruesome sight.
Several staggered back, and many were unable to hold themselves. Many of them puked all the contents of their stomach.
After finishing them all, Harry turned to face Amelia with a smile on his face.
"Now what?" she asked in an agitated tone.
"Madam Bones," Harry said calmly. "In reality, you should be thanking me. After all, this was your duty as the Head of the DMLE."
He paused, then added with a mocking smile, "But even if you had caught them, I wonder, would they have truly been punished? They treat the Ministry and its justice system like a prostitute."
"They might have claimed to be under imperius curse or some other made up reasons and would have been free in days," he added. "But now, I have given them what they deserved."
Amelia clenched her fist and stopped herself from retorting. She knew that whatever the man said was true.
Raising his right hand, Harry gave a small wave of bye towards Amelia, then vanished from the spot.
